How should I prepare my artwork?

1. Make sure your artwork is saved at a high Resolution: For the best printing results, please use artwork with a resolution of 300 DPI (dots per inch) that is the size of the sticker you want, or larger. This will help maintain the quality of your design, especially for small or intricate details. For the best quality, use Vector Graphics.

2. Bleed and Trim: By default, or stickers have an approximately .1" white border,. If you want your sticker to be full bleed, be sure to leave a bleed area that extends outside the cutline for your artwork. We recommend a bleed of 1/8" (0.125 inches).

3. Include a Safe Zone: Keep important elements like text or crucial design elements away from the edges of your art. An 1/8" (0.125 inches) gap will help to avoid accidental cropping.

4. Embed Fonts or Expand/Rasterize Text: If your artwork includes any text, it is crucial that you embed all the fonts you use. Alternatively, you can expand the text to shapes/outlines or rasterize it to avoid font compatibility issues.

5. Cutlines: We create cut lines for the majority of artwork submitted. If you want to include your own, be sure to include it on a separate layer within your file (and in a file that supports layers, such as Illustrator PDF, .psd, or .ai file). Please slightly round all angles as well. This will guarantee the best possible quality from our cutter. If you do not, we may round the corners slightly for you.

6. Proofread and Preview: Review your artwork and guarantee that all elements are displaying correctly BEFORE you submit your work. Check that there are no missing images, fonts, color issues, or spelling errors. Preview the artwork at 100% zoom to ensure that it appears as intended, considering your sticker’s final size. If you notice an issue, please email us ASAP. We cannot promise anything, but we may be able to update your doc if you catch us soon enough.

What file types can you print?

We can print many types of files including: .ai, .jpg, .png, .pdf, .psd, .svg, and .tiff. For the best quality, use a lossless file format such as .AI, .TIFF, .PSD, .PDF. These formats preserve the image quality and provide compatibility with different printing software and devices.
